Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections

What to Expect During the Procedure

During this quick procedure, you’ll be comfortably positioned face down. After numbing the injection site with a local anesthetic, our specialists use fluoroscopy or ultrasound to guide a thin needle into the cervical epidural space, delivering the medication. You’ll be monitored briefly afterward for safety.

Aftercare and Follow-Up

Post-injection, you may be advised to rest, avoid strenuous activities, and apply ice or heat to the site. Follow-up visits will evaluate your response, with additional injections or physical therapy recommended as needed to maintain relief.
